Well, after nearly 2 years, I've decided to blog again. I know I said I was going to update throughout college, but it happened. Life moved on and before I knew it, I was in my sophomore year of college. Nothing went how I planned though. I went to USU for my freshman year and absolutely loved it, I made good friends, met cute guys, and had the whole college experience, but I made quite a bit of mistakes and fell away from my religion along with it. It made me realize who I was though.
After moving back in with my parents over the summer when an apartment and job in SLC fell through, I decided I kind of liked Utah County. For some unbeknownst reason, I stayed, and made a decision I never in a million years thought I'd do, I transferred to UVU. I moved to Provo and made some really good friends there. I even turned in my mission papers, and again, decided for some unbeknownst reason, that it wasn't right for me. Life took quite a bit of unexpected turns, but I'm happy with where I'm at. I have an incredible job I love, I'm finally able to do more traveling, which I've always wanted to do, and I'm closer to my Heavenly Father than I've ever been. If there's one thing I'm learning, it's that nothing ever goes as planned and I shouldn't get too comfortable with where I'm at, because I've still got a lot of stretching and growing to do.
